The E-Type subframes were very original and relatively unmolested, although in a rather dirty condition. They had not been removed from the vehicle before and dismantling revealed that the subframes were very straight with no signs of damage, cracking or corrosion. The Jaguar engineers really did a great job with this bolt on front subframe design.
